Miasma IV: Contagion 1

2024

This work is part of a series of wall panels continuing the investigation of our experience with epidemic disease. Each panel suggests a particular context (here a grandmotherly domestic realm) and includes relevant texts drawn from disparate sources. Each panel also includes a small shelf bearing a ‘covid’ sculpture, in this instance encased in a vintage reliquary. The texts are printed (some on decorative backgrounds), along with one hand-embroidered piece, all in gold frames.
